The property (As a solo traveller) is perfect, in comparison to nearby accommodation it is affordable, the staff are amazing and super friendly. The facilities for washing are a bit lacking but you can always use the resort facilities as a stop gap. Otherwise for the price and location of YOUTEI I would recommend it for anyway who would like to stay in Rusutsu for a longer period of time for a price that isn’t excessive.

It was clean and cozy. The staff was really nice and helpful. There’s a fridge, microwave to bring your own food. The common space was nice, a good place to hang out after a big day riding. The shuttles to the mountain work out really well and very handy. There’s all the convini walking distance. Was very lucky to have a great crew solo travelers as well and end up riding and having lots of fun

Everything is perfect! Except the toilet is a bit sparse! It is recommended to install a simpler disinfection spray in the bathroom. The staff is very friendly! There is a restaurant on the first floor

Very friendly staff which made the stay worth it. They helped me with instructions on how to get to a specific place and held my luggage until I came back. The bed was very comfortable and the room was really nice! If only all hostels were like this!

2 mins to the train station, very convenient! Super cozy, clean and tidy. Kitchenware is well equipped. Self check in but it is easy to follow the instructions. You can take the leisure walk along the seaside and enjoy the serenity. I would definitely recommend it if you want to escape from the tourists and expensive Lake Toya hotels.

The hostel has a lovely, homely atmosphere. The staff are kind and accommodating. It's a great place for meeting people. The food is great and reasonably priced. The shuttle buses to and from the mountain are perfect, as well as the Onsen trips.
