Really clean facilities, hair dryers, towel, earplugs, free coffee, luggage storage and close to the morning market and main street. I even could print my bus-ticket in the co-workingspace.

Loved the typical Japanese room and the location, everything was very clean! Staff was very nice and the beds were one of the most comfortable I had in Japan. They have complementary umbrellas, tea, coffee and some sweets and snacks.

I like the traditional style of the place and it has cozy vibe to it. It’s like a 4min walk from train station and the bus station which is really hopeful you want to take the early bus to shirawa-go and kamikochi

We were accomodated in different place than was advertised, so I cannot review anything. Price was high, but it could be because of the autumn festival that was happening that day.

A perfect opportunity to get real local experience. This place is not made for tourists and if you prefer 5star hotels this place is not for you, but if you want to learn more about Japanese onsen culture it is perfect. You can use multiple baths and sauna as well as cold pool for 900 yen in the evening and in the morning before check out and enjoy nice food right after taking a good bath. Your company is gonna be some Japanese uncles and aunties, but they are great. It’s a simple place with a great soul!

The staff is so nice and the location on the hill is very cute. There is a direct bus going into the city just 2 minutes downhill. The bed was really cozy with a big blanket and curtains. The hostel is in an older style but all so clean and I instantly felt safe and cozy there.
