This place is AMAZING. The pool is a true blessing, the double room we stayed in was so comfy (amazing bed, which is a rarity around here so extra appreciated, balcony with a nice view, impeccable AC), the location is amazing (close to some truly amazing restaurants, I recommend the Khmer Surin!), the staff is truly helpful and very pleasant, the restaurant has a good variety and makes really good Cambodian food and Western food.

Mad Monkey provided enjoyable food options at their restaurant, including beer, and had a pool to swim in during the day or simply relax in the sun. The hostel organized evening events such as beer pong and traditional food experiences, which might make working in the evening a bit challenging. I found the atmosphere to be somewhat loud for my taste, but the good Wi-Fi signal and opportunities for socializing or exploring the city could be appealing to others.

Someone named the hostel a "hotel with a hostel vibe" and that is totally right! Personnel is super helpful and always nice! Rooms and toilets are very clean, I think they cleaned the bathrooms many times during the day. The swimming pool and restaurant with river view is amazing. Great place to feel the vacation vibe in the middle of the capital city. We extended our stay 3 times. Hot water in the shower, lockers with the padlock, curtains.

It was a very comfortable stay, and the price was very reasonable. I stayed in the dormitory room, and it was clean with good air conditioning. I also felt safe because I could store my luggage under the bed with a padlock. The bathroom area sometimes needs a bit more checking, but it’s totally acceptable. The location is excellent for sightseeing in Phnom Penh – close to the main attractions and surrounded by nice restaurants. There’s even an AEON MaxValu (like a convenience store) about 300m away, which is very convenient. And also, the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend!
