I booked 3 nights here in the 4beds shared room, but in the end I couldn't stay at the hostel because of a mistake that I made. The owner was super cool about that and even helped me to sort out my situation and invited me for a chat and some tea. He is the sweetest person and has a lot of advice to offer. I recommend this hostel to everyone, especially solo travelers, cause there is a very social atmosphere. Thanks again my friend, I wish you and your family all the best

Wow wow wow!! The owner Kasun and the whole family were so kind and friendly. I left my earphones at the hostel and I only had about 10 minutes until my train arrived, not only did he drop me there at the station but also came back again to bring my earphones at a short notice. This stay was wonderful, peaceful and sociable. Breakfast was amazing and beds were comfy. Favourite hostel in Sri Lanka!!

Highly recommended! In the city center, close to different cafes and shops, the rooms are spacious, there is hot water, AC, the beds have curtains, good breakfast included, you can sign up for social activities, Shehan and the staff are really friendly and eager to help with any request. Best hostel in Sri Lanka I've been so far!

Amazing hostel- everything about it was fantastic! I booked for two nights but ended up staying 11 lol. The host is v friendly, the hostel is a very easy place to relax and its a really nice walk along the railway lines to get to Ella town centre (40mins). Some nice restaurants along the way too (River Face). Socialble hostel, they provide a free breakfast and a cheap dinner (500-700 rupees). Good location for Ella Rock sunrise hike too:)

The place is both clean and comfortable, and it's amazing in a word. Matthew and Palit, who are the staff members of one person, are amazingly friendly and helpful. The staff is the best I've ever seen.Overall, I loved this place.
