I had the best time at The Well so I came back here 4 times during my trip!! The owners do the most to ensure a great stay. It is not a party or super social hostel but the atmosphere is super laid-back and together with the beautiful pool area, it is the perfect place to relax. The price for the dorms is very reasonable as they are very clean, the beds are very comfortable and have curtains. I have met the best people at this place and would always come back here. I had a very good stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable with everything I needed for a pleasant stay. The location is convenient, close to Kabalana Beach, which made it easy to get around. Overall, it was a nice experience and good value for the money. I would be happy to stay here again.

A very welcoming and completely renovated property surrounded by greenery, very close to "Jungle Beach," a unique experience that immerses you in the true culture of Sri Lanka. Although the hostel is not currently on Google Maps, and therefore difficult to find, there is a Tuc Tuc service offered by the host who will take you from the first hostel, "Oops," to "Hanuman Heights"! Very nice! Definitely an experience to try at least once in your life.

The family the run this hostal are absolutely amazing and Honeslty it was the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. We felt Like part of the family and they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Rooms were brand new with modern furnishings and so clean. Fire flies in the trees, I it was amazing value for money and I will definitely be going back! I couldn’t rate this stay any higher. X

Perfect location right across the main Galle bus station. convenient access to the old fort and sites around Galle. Also a great spot to do day trips to beaches in the South. Clean, well maintained and safe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great local bar at the bottom of the hostel, with a range of local food.
