The staff! The guys are doing it great. They try to include everyone in the group. It's a social and chill hostel that go partying eveywhere else so it's perfect. If you feel like party you join if you don't feel like partying you stay in the nicest common areas talking and having a tea with others. They have daily activities to make it like a family

Our host alan was so warm and welcoming and always prepared the western breakfast with a little something different. We really felt very welcome, bc of his passion for cooking. The accomodation is really new (opened 3 months ago). They are still renovating a bit of the accomodations and there will be a pool in the future. The room was very quiet, had ac and warm shower, and even without the AC on it stayed really cool during day and night! Great value for money! I would definitely recommend staying here.

We just stay one night in this hotel, but it was very clean n confortable. The owner and staff are very kind and honest people. The balcony is very Nice and in the morning it was amazing for us to see all the monkeys n birds sound in the trees :) very simple cozy hotel, we had separate room, we spend a good night there, it was very quiet, the price is cheap and we will go again if we go back to weligama

Best hostel I’ve been too. Ishan and his father are really kind and help with everything and the place it’s really family style, everyone hangs out together and have fun. I was supposed to stay 3 nights but I ended up staying for 10 days. Love it

Justin is the epitome of extroversy, casually connecting all guests to each other and making everyone feel at home. Well done! The vibes are very social, but even the super busy boozy open mic night ended at 23:00, so a good sleep is facilitated too. The tent was very nice (and huge!) and I liked the open air shower a lot.

Mahesh is a wonderful host and I had an amazing time. The room was spacious, clean and there is a great lounge on the terrace to chill out or sleep:). A quiet area, and also very close to everything.     Wake Up Hostel was my favourite Hostel in Sri Lanka so far. The social vibe is great and you can easily get to know new people. There is social activities every day, the location is 5 minutes from the beach and it's a bit off of the main road so you don't here the traffic. In addition the Host is super cool and takes part in most hostel activities. The dorm room was spacy, clean and there was a wooden Box to store your important stuff. If you want to to experience something you should definitely go here.

    this is the best hostel I have visited. good location, close to the beach, cafe, shop. clean, friendly staff. The best guys worked at the reception. they created a really cool atmosphere and came up with various events.

    A great hostel with a great location. Not far from the bus station or beach. There always some activity and a WhatsApp group to make it easier. Common area is really nice and easy to meet people. Nice with a kitchen as well!
