JIB Hostel stands out as one of the most welcoming, accommodating, and comfortable hostels I have ever stayed. The owner, Jiny, was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable insights about Weligama. Her warm hospitality made me feel at ease as a newcomer to the area. The dormitory is spacious, and my bed was both clean and comfortable, offering ample room for all guests. The bathrooms are also large and well-equipped with necessary amenities. A notable feature of JIB Hostel is its restaurant, which serves a delightful array of Asian fusion dishes, including Korean, Thai, and Japanese cuisine, making it easy to find satisfying meal options. My stay at JIB Hostel was truly enjoyable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others.

The staff was very friendly, the kitchen well equipped, they have multiple floors and there is plenty of room to chill outside of your room. I only stayed for 1 night in the end though. Location also great, close to the beach with great views but still pretty quiet. Apart from the proximity to train tracks

its quite area. its 5 min from beach and 10 min to center by walking. there is a private fan and mosquito net, hotwater all day. owners are nice. its like family here: there is your privacy and at the same time we go to parties and to the beach and eat together and play board games and see movies. this is the best hostel in weligama P-E-R-I-O-D p.s. owner makes great kambucha p.s. the other owner makes cookies and carrot cakes

    Wake Up Hostel was my favourite Hostel in Sri Lanka so far. The social vibe is great and you can easily get to know new people. There is social activities every day, the location is 5 minutes from the beach and it's a bit off of the main road so you don't here the traffic. In addition the Host is super cool and takes part in most hostel activities. The dorm room was spacy, clean and there was a wooden Box to store your important stuff. If you want to to experience something you should definitely go here.

    this is the best hostel I have visited. good location, close to the beach, cafe, shop. clean, friendly staff. The best guys worked at the reception. they created a really cool atmosphere and came up with various events.

    A great hostel with a great location. Not far from the bus station or beach. There always some activity and a WhatsApp group to make it easier. Common area is really nice and easy to meet people. Nice with a kitchen as well!
