It's a great and clean hostel with everything you need for a short/long stay with reasonable price. The staff were so friendly and attentive. The breakfast was sooo yummy! It is in the center and 5 min. walking to any tourist destinations. The view from the terrace is fascinating!

The staff (especially the ever-present Sadia) go out of their way to be helpful. The location, just a few steps away from the ramparts with their perfect vantage point to watch the sunset, is ideal.

This hostel has the most amazing staff I have ever met in my life! I can just say a HUGE THANKS for all the people working there, because during my 2 weeks of staying, they treated me so good. I felt like they are all my big brothers taking care of me. I have never seen before a staff so friendly, talkative and involved of the travelers everyday life. Any kind of issue I faced in Essaouira, they were there to help me (even came with me to buy vegetables in the market, to show me how things are going among locals, or we could just eat together to not to feel alone in my lonely moments). Best atmosphere ever! I was a bit crying when I left Essouira :/ If something didn't work in the building (like the electrical socket next to my bed when I arrived) I just told them, and they came right away to fix it. They are fast and really willing to help you. Also if you are looking for a place, where the community life is very good, this is the right place to stay, they have musical instruments, a nice hall, and a rooftop to talk and make friends or find travel buddies. Love you guys! Hope to see you soon!

This is the kind of place that it’s difficult to leave. I kept extending my stay here because you really feel at home. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and the atmosphere is cosy and warmth. You can probably find more intimated places in the city but I’m not sure you can find a friendlier one. The breakfast is one of the best I was served in a hostel and Souf, the manager, cooks often family dinners for the guests. As a solo traveler, I definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for a unique and authentic stay.
