United KingdomOur hosts Dragan and Zorica made sure that we enjoyed the timeless beauty of the mountain pastures in warmth of their heartfelt hospitality. Days started with homemade breakfast that used produce from their grain fed chickens, cows grazing on medicinal herbs (some 300 varieties grew there) and freshly made hot ‘priganice’ with strong coffee. We walked the many drovers roads through stunning landscape that changed little in hundreds of years, and swam in the glacial lakes. Meals were tasty and there was plenty for vegetarians, served at the time of our choosing at their garden overlooking the lake. Sun was shining and days were pleasantly warm but evenings were cool and refreshing. The hosts treated us to homemade juices and raki. They embraced us like family. Cabin was wooden and cosy. So many stars in the sky! We can’t wait to be back. We were refreshed in both body and soul. I can’t recommend this place enough, simple living at its best!

De kitchen is cosy and has enough equipment to prepare meals or anything. The code to enter the hostel is ideal and every guest has it 's own closet to keep things stuffed away. The mattresses on the bunk beds are good. Some of the beds squick a little. The host is very kind and willing to help you find your way. We also enjoyed the garden, lovely to start the day in the sun sitting in a relaxing garden.Guest review byMoniekFamily with young children
