Azul Cielo became my favorite hostel in Mexico! It's a very nice and cosy hostel. Very social - lots of activities going on everyday. And the oaxacan dinner was the best of them all! Friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet location. I didn't feel unsafe there even walking in the dark. I recommend this hostel to everyone! And I hope to come back there someday too

Great hostel experience! Clean and inviting with lots of outdoor space, friendly and attentive staff, active group chat with lots of great events and social opportunities both at the hostel and around town. A good pick for solo travelers and couples, especially those looking for a social vibe without being too big or overwhelming. The bed was available and they allowed me to check-in very early in the morning. The location is exceptional and close to all the great places in Oaxaca. The room was big and clean and the staff was very helpful. For this price it was a great room and option to stay at for a while.

The hostel was in the city center. Very clean. The stuff are friendly and helpful. Receptionist are very nice. She changed our room for the room with separate deds. (I was traveling with my friend) Without asking any extra payment. There is a place to make exercises. Thing is it registered on a booking.com like a hostel but it is more then some other hotels with stars.
