It was super comfortable, the little bunks had everything you need and the whole place was spotlessly clean! But the woman who runs the hostel was the highlight - she was incredibly friendly and gave me lots of great recommendations for where to eat in Georgetown.

The apartment is located in a great location. The facilities are simple. It was super clean and so far best accommodation I had in Malaysia on a low budget. The owners were also super nice. When we had an issue they quickly responded, helped and accommodated us. The owner also stepped by to check up on us and gave us a great list of recommendations for Penang.

We have always stayed at AAYU properties due to the responsiveness of the host, clean room and minimalist decor of the place. We had a slight stain on our bedsheet (everything else was PERFECT!) and once we texted the host, they immediately arranged for replacement without any further questions - the way they take responsibility for things are really superb and well commendable we truly appreciate it They are always very kind in giving us tips.
