Absolutely amazing ! The location is great , near to the pier and surrounded by shops and places to eat ! You have a decent breakfast in the morning and a dispenser of hot/cold water to refill your bottle , that's great to avoid plastic ! The woman who runs the hostel is lovely and so kind , she's gonna help you with everything , the rest or the staff are great as well ! Bathroom are clean all the time , with soap and hot water ! Definitely the place to stay in Semporna !

Nice place, clean and safe in a good location, although the street is busy during the day it is not loud. The staff was friendly and always available, easily booked trips to the islands and Shuttle to the airport. Great value for money,would stay again.

I felt super welcome in this hostel. The beds are very comfortable and you have your own cabine with light and electricity point. Unfortunately I had a big migraine and they where really lovely to help me to walk with me to my bus and let me stay after check out time. Thanks again for your warm hearted service.

    I had a great stay at Island backpackers in a private room and extended a few times. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. Free breakfast of toast, spreads, boiled eggs & bananas was more than many hostels. The place is basic, but it does the job if you’re hoping to do diving / snorkeling day trips.

    Amazing stay and comfortable bed. Friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Liked this area more vs the waterfront. Very good value for money. The hostel arranged transport to the airport which was the cheapest I could find!

    The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hostel is nice, everything you need/want for those prices. You can book different dive days trip in the hostel: cheap, good and EASY.

    The hostel was great with arranging for a late airport pickup for much cheaper than anything else. Spent a night here before heading to Mabul Island and it worked out. It's amazing that they include breakfast for that price. The companies they recommend for tours and diving are good companies and the prices are amongst the cheapest in all of Semporna.
