Such a comfortable and cosy hostel. I stayed in the female dorm, probably the best room in the hostel. I loved the shower and the fresh smell of the laundry and air freshener. I loved the great communication with the host. My bed was very comfortable and the heating worked well. The sofa and dining table in the room are very convenient. I loved the view of aurora direct from the warm room and the reflection of the northern lights on the calm sea or Fyord. I loved the fact that the bus stop was 2 minutes maybe walk from the hotel. One of the best hostels I've stayed at. I stayed for 2 nights but I could have stayed longer and would definitely go back whenever I return to Lofoten islands.

The apartment was lovely, with heating, a kitchen, washing machine and clean showers and toilets which is a must for me. Huge appreciation to Thea, one of the assistant managers who welcomed me in to the hostel. Quiet area, near the Reine viewpoint and shops.

The Harbour House, dorm and twin, selfservice hostel is offering accommodation in Ballstad. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge.
