GermanyWithout a doubt, this was one of the best and most unique experiences we had during our one-month trip through Nepal. From the moment we arrived, Dharmik (the owner) and his team made us feel so welcome. Dharmik is incredibly kind and attentive, always quick to respond to anything we needed. The rooms were spotless, and the showers were honestly amazing! The bamboo rooms added a special, rustic charm, though they aren’t insulated or soundproof. For us, that wasn’t a problem at all—it was actually part of the experience we were looking for at Happy Lemon Tree. If you’re a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, but we slept perfectly fine.
We also loved the yoga sessions offered on top of the tower at the lodge. Practicing in the peaceful jungle surroundings felt so relaxing and made the stay even more memorable.
The entire place has such a laid-back vibe, perfect for soaking up the jungle atmosphere. Sitting by the riverbank with a cold drink, watching animals wander by, was a real highlight for us. The lodge is also in a great location—just a short walk to the main street of Sauraha. Plus, they let us store our bags while we went on a three-day jungle safari, which was super helpful.
