Really nice and cosy newly opened hostel. Beds are very spacious (bigger than 1 size), curtains gives a lot of privacy and it's completely dark for good sleep. The view is amazing and host knows everything I might want to know about Port Barton. And for this price, it might be just the best place to stay in Port Barton.

Great location, right in the centre of town. Friendly staff, confortable common areas. Quiet and very good value for money. Definitely recommend to anyone on a budget!

we had 2 lovely nights here and felt very welcome! the owner is super lovely and took good care of us. we could rent a scooter, ask for plates & knife for making our breakfast and got some recommendations for port barton. the place is basic but clean and comfortable, which is most relevant. they even had free coffee! location felt safe and close to everything. we would come back! thank you :)

We loved staying at Backpacker's hill! Our host was so friendly and helpful with good recommendations and booking tours/trips. I loved that it was a bit further away from the main tourist zone, making it a more peaceful and authentic place to stay. It was really easy and pleasant to walk into the main area to see all the sights (about 10-15 min). the location is stunning! A wonderful stay in Port Barton.

The bed is a double space bed, really comfy with 2 pillows. The staff is amazing always smiling et they know your name. Good restaurant, nice party, nice people! 5min walk from the Van station et 2min from the beach.

The owner was very nice and his wife help us to Book some Islande tour and transports. It's vert cool in the morning to take a coffe in the commun Space next to the family Port Barton IS a very nice place to visit

Facilities were amazing, loved having hammocks and a pool table. Bathrooms were clean enough and rooms were well maintained.

A nice little find hidding at the back of town behind one of the more popular restaurants with westerners (probably in lonely planet because I ate there and it was nothing to shout about ) clean rooms and friendly staff that left you alone. Felt like a home stay rather that hostel which was nice. Free tea and coffee and water . A nice touch

I must say that the staff there is truly friendly and pleasant! They organized amazing trips for me, and the communication via WhatsApp was incredibly convenient. The hostel is well-maintained, clean, fresh, and in a great location. Small but friendly. Highly recommended!

This hostel is incredible! Great vibes in the common area, super friendly staff and overall a very relaxed and laid-back yet friendly and open atmosphere. The cabins are super cosy with a cute little balcony/porch and the beds have curtains on all sides and a very convenient storage closet thingy. Perfect for solo travellers!
