I booked one night at The Millas Hostel to attend a concert at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. I was pleasantly surprised because the venue was just an 8-10 minute walk away, following a straight path with no turns. Although I didn’t spend much time at the hostel, I loved it; the ambiance was cozy and homey, just to my liking. I appreciated Madam Ligaya, the owner, who warmly welcomed and entertained me even though I arrived very early. Her son EJ, the manager, was also warm and kind. Their hospitality was top-notch, and my cousin and I even had a small chitchat with them. As a solo traveler both here and abroad, I can confidently say that Millas Hostel is among my top five favorite hostels worldwide. From their amenities to the complimentary breakfast, it’s really worth the stay. Millas Hostel will be my go-to place whenever I’m in Manila. If you’re a solo traveler or in a group attending a concert or simply exploring the city, this is the perfect haven. It’s accessible to public transport, convenience stores, restaurants, and more.

All the staff in this hostel were service-oriented and met the guests with kindness and helpfulness, but the staff at the counter was outstanding and exceeded all my expectations. One of the staff at the counter booked a grab taxi for me to an attraction and to my surprise she called me in the afternoon and booked a taxi for my return as well.

The staff. All friendly both reception and housekeeping. I didn't catch his name, but he helped me by saving spots on my maps, telling me where to eat, where to visit, where to catch public transport. I very much appreciate that. I like that you have shared a lounge and rooftop to hang out. The housekeeping team was also very kind and helpful. So for that I would stay again.

Straightforward check in with professional staff & welcomed cold bottle of water on a sweltering day. The room is clean with windows & equipped with aircon, tv & basic furnishings. Also, en suite bathroom with shampoo, soap & towel. It has standard colour combination of blue & green on the walls & bedding. Highly recommended for value for money in a single bedroom accommodation.
