This is truly a great hostel. It has the best of both worlds. The comfort of a hotel and the friendliness of a hostel. Plus there is a nice pool, a great beach with dunes, and a superb sea food festival right next door (the later takes place beginning of August)! And last but not the least, the owner Sandra is very flexible (we had to shorten our stay and she agreed to the reimbursement).

The location next to the gas station was surprising, but once we were inside the hotel was much better than we expected. The staff were extremely friendly, explaining the breakfast options and giving suggestions for local places to visit and eat. The view was great, the rooms clean and comfortable, there was the opportunity to get snacks and food at the restaurant. The breakfast was simple and delicious. Many people stayed here who were doing the Camino through Portugal, and it was interesting to hear their expereinces. There was a great beach not too far from the hotel with a lifeguard, very clean sand and fun waves to play in.

Everything was nice. I was surprised to see swimming pool included for such low price. Unfortunately did not try it because of tiring and late check-in. I like the organisation moments like outside special shelf for piligrim shoes with smell, special area for washing and hanging clothes after washing. That’s really cool that you, guys, think about it! There is a big area for guests outside sleeping room and it is also very nice.

Super clean, comfortable beds, bedding provided. No living room area, but kitchen is sufficient. Outside seating area with hand wash station available. Would definitely stay again.
