I love this place!!! Such a welcoming and warm place. It felt like a home! Well, it used to her grandma's home... Definitely not a "traditional hostel". It has a small capacity ; there are a couple of dorms and a couple of (double) rooms. Katja, the owner, is very friendly and gave me great recommendations for dining and sight-seeing. It's also a pet-friendly place. A couple of nights some guestrs had their dogs and Katja left dog treats for them on the breakfast table! Such a lovely gesture! Breakfast had several options. Fresh bread every morning! Katja also makes her own yogurt, which she serves for breakfast. They provide free towels (that's extra points for a hostel) and there are even shampoos and shower gels for guests. Very clean place, too!

This is the best place I stayed during my week in Slovenia. It was spacious, very clean, comfortable bed and wonderful staff. The location is between Bled and Lake Bohinj Lake, but if you like to get away from the crowd this is a great place. The coffeeshop and icecream shop is right outside the door.

This hostel offers good-value accommodation with shared and private bathroom facilities. Located outside Pac Sports Centre, it provides a discount for the centre’s activities. Ribčev Laz is 2 km away....

The guy in the restaurant was very friendly and helped us. The pizza there was absolutely delicious.

Lovely house with history, all facilities clean and neat, super nice easy going and friendly host, host was cool with me checking in earlier. Perfect location dive minutes walk to the lake.

I would give 11 out of 10 if this was an option. Overall the best accommodation of my entire bike backing trip between Northern Italy and Slivenia. I just really loved the vibes that Katja and Ryan have been able to create. It made me feel at home after some time of travelling. The atmosphere there really makes you feel like chilling, the name is perfect. Absolutely recommend to have a dip in the river and the soak up some sun. Loved the free coffee, tea and vegetables. Breakfast was good and varied, delicious home made banana bread and zucchini bread.

Excellent facilities, private room, spacious! Hosts were great and helped us with everything we needed and allowed us to leave our belongings the day we checked out!

It was one of the best hostels we had ever stayed! It is like an apartment with very cozy and clean rooms and large private bathroom! The people who work there are very kind, with a big smile and were willing to accommodate to all our requests! Also the woman who works in the breakfast room was very very kind! It is located in a beautiful green quiet area just 10 minutes by car from Blend lake and 35 minutes from the capital Ljubljana! We had a beautiful stay and if we come back in the future, we will absolutely stay at this beautiful hostel!
