It is very close to many places. You can walk to the center of Taksim in 10 minutes. Sabih Gentleman, who works at the reception, is a very helpful person. From what I learned, this is a family business. There is an area where you can cook your food and an open towel for smokers. I will come again.

I spent 4 wonderful nights in Rodin hostel (instead of 2). Everything was great: location, staff, my bed, the common guest room and people around!:) I met other travelers and we explored city together. I experienced true hostel spirit - the main reason i choose hostels! All staff was very helpful and friendly- I already miss charming Sally :) I'll come there again!)

Calm area in the middle of the city. Close to bus stop which can take you further into the city for example to the tram station to continue to the Blue Mosque. I only stayed there for one night so didn't explore too much the area close by, but found it quite comfortable for the time I was there.

I had an amazing stay at Windrose! The location is perfect near Taksim Square, restaurants and night life next door opened 24/7. It was super easy to reach the Historic town as well! Room very comfy with great A/C and balcony, everything super clean. Small but convenient common kitchen and living room. The staff was incredibly nice to me, I was having a bad day and they totally cheered me up, gave me a very comfy room and were very useful to help me plan my trip. Thanks a lot guys!!

The managers at the hostel did an excellent job making sure we needed anything during our stay! Our first night we joined the pub crawl and had such a great time getting to try different bars and making new friends! Ozzie and John were helpful, fun and when we wanted to leave the pub crawl early (we had a long travel day) they helped us to get back to the hostel safely. They provided so much information on where to eat, what to see, how to get about the city they made the trip so much better! I will definitely recommend the cheers vintage hostel to friends and when I come back ton Istanbul will plan on staying there again!
