The room was super cozy, the bed and pillow were comfortable, everything was very clean. Location is great, just a short walk from the north gate to the old city. There's a market nearby, many restaurants to choose from (with better prices than the tourist-traps inside the old city), and it is close to public squares and parks where you can chill. The outside area has many tables and chairs; you can work from there quite comfortably. Shaxriyor speaks great English, he's friendly, diligent and very helpful. He gave me the right information about going to Nukus, which was not easy to find online.

Hostel East has a garden and a bar in Khiva. There is free private parking and the property features paid airport shuttle service.

Everything is completely new and perfectly clean. Great location next to the train station and in proximity of the old town. Good and prompt communication with the owner. The apartment has everything one needs with a well equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and good WiFi. Excellent value for money, fully recommendable.
