He waited for me at the ferry pier and took me to the property by private boat at his own expenses so that I would not get lost. and when we reached the property he welcomed me with a delicious mint cocktail. He did everything he could to make me feel welcomed and safe. Everything was just perfect. The location is also good, in a quiet part of Elephantine Island but at a walking distance from the public ferry (they only charge 10 Egyptian pounds one way to reach the mainland). She also cooks wonderfully – if you’re lucky enough to try her traditional homemade food, you’ll truly enjoy it. The breakfasts were fantastic too, and one morning she even prepared a takeaway breakfast for our excursion. I absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay here again
