The property is 80 metres from the city centre and 21 km from Giessbachfälle. Pretty much the ideal hostel experience. The rooms were nice, with comfortable mattresses, made bedding, and a sink and mirror in the room. A European and a Swiss style outlet at the bed, a good shelf, and an adjustable reading light. Tons of very nice common spaces, including a well-equipped and huge kitchen area. Breakfast was simple (bread, yogurt, cereal, coffee, and juice) but high quality including locally baked fresh bread. The shower rooms were large and had lots of hooks and dry space to put your things. The staff were friendly and accommodating and everything was always clean. The building itself is cool too.

Open from winter 2017 / 2018 and located in Ehrwald in the Tyrol Region, 2.9 km from Tiroler Zugspitzbahn Cable Car, Mellow Mountain Hostel features a sauna a steambath and ski storage space. Free private parking is available on site and there is free WiFi access throughout the property. Very nice accommodation, staff was very friendly and helpful, beds in the room were comfortable and the shared living rooms felt very cozy. If I'm back in the area someday I will definitely look to stay here again.

The area is popular for hiking and cycling, and bike hire is available at the hostel. It was fun to meet other travellers in the kitchen/common area space. The common area was little, only accommodating 6ppl at a time. We mingled 1 night out of the 4 that we were there so I’m not sure if that is enough space usually — it was enough for the 1 night that we did. The hostel is very clean. I think the staff clean every day. The surrounding area is very quiet which is nice.
