The rooms will provide guests with a minibar. Everything went smoothly, the host was very kind and helpful. Regardless of the bad weather we got for three days, the pousada was well attended. The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The place was always tidy, clean and really comfortable. You can tell that its tenant is taking great care of the house and garden, it’s really a great place to stay. Would definitely recommend it and I might come back myself.

Best hostel in ilha grande! Very affordable the staff were so kind, welcoming and informative. Beds were comfortable and had curtains. Spacious kitchen and multiple common areas. Was only meant to stay a few nights but ended up staying more as I loved it so much.

I believe Refugio was one of the best Hostels I have ever stayed in. Super clean, comfy bed, friendly staff, fair price, good area if you have to work. It immediately felt like home, it is a very intimate hostel and the owners are just great hosts. It’s super clean and the common area feels like a living room, the kitchen is perfectly equipped and there is free coffee and if you are lucky snacks. I wouldn’t have left if I didn’t have to!
