The facilities are very new and smart, everything were in good place. Staffs are super nice and friendly, hospitality like at home.

Youth Hostel St. Alban features both bedrooms with private bathrooms and shared dormitory rooms. All have a minimalist design but are still extremely comfortable. Expect lots of wood furniture and large windows. Location was great, only few minutes walk from Münster, one of the main attractions in Basel. Everything in the hostel was very clean, bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways. Employees are very helpful.

A selection of restaurants and bars can be found within walking distance of the hostel. The location is wonderful, really close to the train station. I was in a private room, It was bigger than I expected.

Wi-Fi is available free of charge. The room is not bad. It is shared bathroom but it’s clean and they have multiple bathrooms and toilets. The hostel is near to the tram station. We got the free train ticket around basel. We did enjoy our stay there albeit for 1 night only.
