I only stayed here for 1 night but this hotel is just what I expected. Great location, near to the airport although further from the city centre. I thought the included standard breakfast was incredible. Authentic and made with care. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a great start to my visit to Costa Rica!

Great location

Great Location for the Parks. The hotel was well put together taking everything into condsideartion. Good swimming pool. Great Breakfast. Great for birdwatching. We liked it so much we extended our stay.

Safe location , beautifully located with great views of the slope of the volcanoes , comfortable big house , good communication with owner who made us feel very welcome and gave us some good tips for our onward travels .

Location, parking, cheap

Impressive complex with spacious rooms and great shower facilities, with great location close to river and forest. As a single traveller who usually stays in smaller cosier places, I found the La Selva to be unsurprisingly aimed at wealthier international couples and families and thus didn't find it that friendly, but that's perhaps inevitable and not a disrespect to La Selva.
