National Museum of Transylvanian History is 800 metres away and Cluj-Napoca Franciscan Church is 700 metres from the hostel. Everything. It was clean, grest location, warm and in a safe neighbourhood. Walkable to most placed of interests. Wished I had extended my stay. Will definitely revisit Cluj Napoca and I will stay at this hostel. Robert, thanks for making my stay memorable.

At the hostel, each room is equipped with a desk. Guest rooms include a wardrobe. This was my favorite place I’ve stayed on my trip. I will definitely stay there again if I’m in Mukachevo. 🤩 It’s a great value, super clean, and peaceful. Also, the family that runs it is very kind and helpful- they were patient with my communications through Google translate (I don’t speak any Ukrainian). I had a room to myself and used the shared bathroom. My room had a screen over the window so I could let in the cool night air without mosquitoes coming in. The shared bathroom was impressively clean, and there was shampoo to use in the shower. The bathroom stalls and the shower stall have locks on the door. There’s a lovely green kitchen available for use, too; it was well-stocked with spices and cooking utensils. The overall atmosphere was very peaceful and restful. I mainly stay in hostels, which often feel stuffy and crowded. This was a very nice change! The location is maybe 20 minutes walking from the train station. Helpful notes about finding the apartments: I think it could be difficult to find if you don’t speak Ukrainian or read Cyrillic (like me). I copied the address from Booking and pasted it into Google Maps. From the town, you’ll need to walk over a high pedestrian bridge to cross the train tracks. The apartments are in a big, vacant-looking building just past a small road bridge over a water canal. You need to take the side door into the building. There was always a man watching the door to let me in or out of the building. Take the stairs to level 3. It might feel like you’re in a strange place at first, but the 3rd level where the apartments are is cozy, bright, and welcoming :) Also, make sure you have cash to pay, as they are not able to accept card payments.

The property is located 5.1 km from Chateau Svaty Anton, 12 km from Water Paradise Vyhne and 30 km from Zvolen Castle. Some units at the property have a balcony with a city view. This place was beautiful, quite, and exceptionally clean. Felt more like a hotel than a hostel. Had opportunities to meet some other guests while eating in the kitchen. We were also able to store our bikes in a safe location.

Certain units at the property include a balcony with a mountain view.

Hostel Citadella is nothing short of immaculate. It is beautifully renovated, super clean and very well organised. I wished we could have stayed longer than one night but we had a fixed schedule so we weren't able to. We had a view of the citadel from the window in our double room. The kitchen is well equipped and handy. The common area ver comfortable. It's a short walk from the train station and a close walk to the citadel trail, which is well worth the hike. We also took local buses to check out the Corvin Castle. Thank you Hostel Citadella for making our stay in Deva so simple and enjoyable.

The property is 200 metres from Council Square, and within 200 metres of the city centre. Super clean. Great location. Safe. Lots of cool vintage things. Felt like a house Host met us when we arrived. Offered us a beer and spent an hour chatting with us giving all sorts of great advice on local area.
