I really enjoyed the neighborhood too — it was my first time in this district, and it felt vibrant with plenty of good and reasonably priced food options nearby. I had a great experience at Kiez Hostel Berlin! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated the relaxed, cozy atmosphere. The location is excellent—well connected to public transport and in a lively neighborhood with plenty of cafes and shops nearby. It’s a great place to meet fellow travelers but also perfect if you’re looking for some quiet time. A note for Muslim women travelers: Since the hostel has mixed-gender dorms and shared bathrooms, it’s important to stay covered at all times—even in bedrooms and bathrooms. While that can be a challenge, I still found the environment respectful and manageable. Highly recommend for solo travelers or anyone looking for a comfortable, affordable stay in Berlin!

The Circus Hostel offers private rooms as well as shared dormitory rooms, all with bright and modern décor. All rooms offer safety deposit boxes and access to shared bathroom facilities. Great location, easy to find and to check in, friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious rooms/showers. And on top of that you get amazing café and lively bar (Karaoke on thursdays). The Hoff is nice cherry on top. Overall very happy I decided to stay in this hostel and met plenty of cool people there. Couldn't have asked for better first hostel experience!
