If you can manage another 5 more km’s after Melide, away from the throngs of pilgrims I would highly recommend Albergue El Aleman in Boente. Beautiful place, clean, comfortable and most of all peaceful. Staff were really nice and welcoming. The bar was a cool place to hang out and the lovely food was delivered with a friendly nice. Only those staying at El Aleman can use the facilities (bar, restaurant etc.) Would highly recommend this Albergue. Most of us were pilgrims on the Primitivo from Oviedo so it was a welcome relief yo stay here away from the crowds.

At the hostel every room is fitted with a flat-screen TV, a shared bathroom, and a terrace with a mountain view. Everything was fantastic. It was very clean and the breakfast was very good. Fresh orange juice and croissants included. It was the best stay on the camino and I can highly recommend it!
