The staff were extremely nice and were helpful in giving us lots of recommendations. The garden is really nice and a great place to have dinner or lunch. The bathrooms are well-equipped and are kept very clean. The location is very good, a beautiful town that is very close to the picos de europa (you can get the bus to fuente de to get the cable car).

We stayed in the refugio for 3 nights, at the beginning and in the end of a circular trip we did in the picos de europe. A warm and magical place, and the surrounding nature is perfect for a hiking. The refugio is very neat and clean, the rooms are basic and comfortable, the refugio is very cozy and warm to be in. The staff is pleasant. We had a great time and definitely recommend it.
