Situated in Achiltibuie, Acheninver Hostel has a garden, BBQ facilities and free WiFi. Guests can enjoy sea views.

All rooms in the hostel are fitted with a kettle. The rooms will provide guests with a fridge. Adore this little hostel. Ruth is a great host, and the croft house is lovely - warm, and loads of charm with modern facilities. And the location, wow! One of the most beautiful places in Scotland. There's a lot of geological history, and quite a few walks / things to see around Coigach, so it's worth spending more than one night here.

Bazpackers is well situated in Inverness, and features a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. This 4-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and luggage storage space. The property is non-smoking and is set 200 metres from Inverness Castle. The location was fantastic with along views over the rider and right next to the castle. The room we stayed in (double) was exceptional and had clean bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Both check in and checkout were easy and they had baggage storage for after we checked out.

Hartfield House Hostel offers pet-friendly accommodation in Applecross. Free private parking is available on site. There are extensive grounds and covered space for bikes, ideal for cyclists and walkers. Prompt and clear communication from beginning to end. In fact, the most detailed set of information I've received from any of the properties I've stayed in while driving around the NC500. Lara put my mind at ease by informing about late check-in procedures, so I didn't have to rush on the road. Normally, I prefer not to share bathrooms and kitchens, but given the high demand for properties around the area at this time of the year, I was left with no other option. This wasn't a problem at all. Everything is super organized and pristine, from the communal kitchen, laundry room, toilets and showers. I opted for a single room, which was clean, comfortable and adequate after a whole day on the road. Appelcross Village and Heartfield are surrounded by rugged, yet peaceful settings, and I wish I had dedicated more time to this area.
