I liked the 4 people rooms, so it is not crowded. Plus, the lady at reception was very friendly and helpful, providing tips and recommendations if you need it.

St. Stephen's Square in Hvar is located a 13-minute walk from the property. The staff were amazing and incredibly welcoming. We got a lot of recommendations on what to do, and the beds were comfortable. The hostel is full of solo travelers and groups of friends so it’s a great way to meet people, and has an incredible view of Hvar!

I loved how responsive the host was. She was always available and accommodating. We took longer than we meant to packing and getting out of the room and she was very cool about it. She let us leave our luggage for several hours after checking out, just went out of her way to help us. We liked that the hostel was quiet and the guests were mellow! GREAT view from the balcony upstairs.

Marco is extremely nice and his love and care is shown in every spot of the facility. Enjoyed the hot showers and the air conditioning as well as the shared kitchen and washing machine facility. Will see him next year for the next festival.

The accommodation offers a shared kitchen, and organising tours for guests. Hostel Dvor is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-maintained. Mainly 4 per room which is great as you sometimes will have the room to yourself for a while. Private bathroom and a table and chair in the room too. Good location too, walking distance from all major attractions in the old time (around 10mins) and about 30mins walk to a really nice beach. Close to all buses too. Bonus is the breakfast - some of the yummiest bread!! And the staff are soo kind and lovely. You can ask to leave you luggage before check in or after checkout whilst you’re sightseeing and before moving on. Would highly recommend- in fact I’ve already booked to go back

Dean and Steffi are kind and awesome people who made me feel welcome. Dean dropped me off at the trailheads for several nearby hikes, taught me to hitchhike, and taught me to grill! The common areas, including the bar and patio, are designed to encourage community, so I had no trouble making friends. Group dinners (and Dean and Steffi’s friendliness) help also. It’s a beautiful building and very clean. There are several beaches within a ~10 minute walk of the hostel. The other guests and I went night swimming - the beaches are magical at night because of the phosphorescent plankton!

All rooms at Hostel Split have a flat-screen cable TV and wooden floors. City maps are provided at the reception. We loved this property! It was the best we had in Split. Big room with private bathroom and shower! It was easy to find and close to bus and ferry! Would recommend it to anyone
