Piazza Principe, Genova
All rooms in the hostel are equipped with a coffee machine. With a private bathroom fitted with a shower and a hairdryer, rooms at Le stanze del Piccadilly also feature free WiFi. Guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. If you prefer a quiet room with great facilities and welcoming staff, then this is for you, even better its location situated close by to the main transportation hubs and the nearby groceries, restaurants. plus it's a great value for money. We stayed here on two separate periods of a total of six nights, and it was the best we had in Italy. Location: walking distance from bus and metro stations to take you all over Genoa, the main train station is right in about 5 minutes walking from the hotel, taking you to the beautiful beach of Camogli within 35 minutes and only with 3.4 Euro PP. Rooms: it's quite a practical room in terms of size and with a private bathroom in the room that fits perfectly into the area. The room had AC which was super great in the hot days of August as the previous apartment we stayed in had no AC units, only fans. Beds are very comfortable and you can enjoy a deep sleep despite that the room window is straight on the main street but the double glass keeps the noise away. Kitchen and dining table: this is the best in terms of value of money, a fully equipped kitchen and dining table where you can enjoy eating and meeting new people at the same time, the also had a spate place for sitting and reading book from the shelf of books they had or simply using your laptop to write a review about the hotel as I'm doing now! Need to mention that the room had a smart TV unit which was a great addition plus a Netflix included. The staff were amazing in their welcoming and hospitality both Fabrizio and Verona, Fabrizio was so nice that he waited for us to do our late checking due to train delays and was kind enough to share with us tips and locations of good restaurants and places. In General Genoa is a very beautiful city, it might be underrated due to the influence of other cities like Rome or Milan but really Genoa has a lot to offer and what made our stay a great one in Genoa is the Le Stanze del Piccadilly.

The accommodation offers karaoke and a shared kitchen. An industrial-scale hostel (three floors, 10 or more rooms on each), which is pretty well managed. Central location, 12 minutes walking distance from the Brignole railway station, 30 min - from the Piazza Principe station. Windows face a street with no traffic. Clean, toilets and showers are in a good condition. Each room with 6 bunks has its own toilet and a shower (mostly separate, some combo). Shower cabins are spacious and comfortable. The bunks have curtains, individual lamps and electric sockets (220V + USB). Ingenius system - each guest has an individual code which opens the room, the toilet, the shower and the hostel door after midnight. Good mattrasses; sheets are changed regularly. Individual lockers are of decent size and can be secured with a padlock (if you have one). Kitchen has nearly all the necessary things (but I could not find a corkscrew!), there are three fridges (one is in the TV room) and plenty of space to store the food. Around 8 p.m. there is a kind of rush hour in the kitchen, all 4 available burners are in a high demand. There is a decent pub on the ground floor. Small gym (have not used it), tennis table (same), a large TV set in the common area (same).

Clean installation and the building is up on a mountain with a beautiful view and peaceful. For whoever wants to go to Cinque Terre this is a great option, right close to the hostel there’s a bus which takes you to Riomaggiore and from there on. Once again thank you, Cristiano.

Little library they have going on - if you like reading books you will find them there in English and German.
Hot water in the shower and water pressure.
Renting a towel is only 2 eur. I brought my own - a small one - but because the payment was rather symbolic, I rented out a big comfy towel from the hotel :)

The hostel was so conveniently located near La Gare. The social area was great for meeting people and the bar well stocked. The welcome drink was a nice touch and the 6.90€ breakfast was amazing with lots of variety. All the App key codes were a bit overwhelming but quite cool when they worked.
Friendly staff, good vibes clean facilities ,one of best hostels I stayed
Great location. Spacious and clean. Close to a supermarket and many restaurants. Would definitely stay there again. Nice building and felt very safe. Good wifi once we got it work after the first few days.
