They shared many insights about the history and highlights of Asuke, making me feel as though I had become a part of this beautiful town. I stayed in a single room, which was spacious and comfortable, offering a relaxing experience. The restrooms and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained, and to top it off, there was even an open-air bath. It was the perfect way to unwind and soothe my travel fatigue. This is a place I would love to return to as a base for exploring Asuke.

The heart and soul of the hostel are the owner Kiyo and his wife, who are truly the friendliest and most helpful hosts I encountered on my entire trip. When I faced a difficult situation and needed to file a police report but couldn’t speak the language, Kiyo went out of his way to assist me, which meant the world to me. The bathroom facilities blew me away — they provide cleanser, toner, and even q-tips! Plus, the showers were stocked with a fantastic range of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, making it feel like a boutique hotel experience. What also stood out was the thoughtful touch of a comprehensive PDF guide they provide, packed with food recommendations, activities, and must-visit places, which made planning my days so easy and enjoyable. The hostel’s location is ideal — just a short walk to many attractions, with convenient public transport options nearby to explore further afield. I wholeheartedly recommend Usatsuno Osu to anyone visiting the area. The warmth and care I received truly made my stay unforgettable.

Amazing place, big living room with desk to work, full equipped kitchen, dorms were spacious and next to each bed you had quite some space to store extra clothes, backpack... Each bed had a power outlet and the place was very clean. Multiple stores close by By far the best hostel we visited during our trip!

The kitchen was well-equipped, the rooms were clean, and the beds were super comfortable. The showers were also very clean and pleasant to use. The area around the hostel has an organic supermarket and several places to buy food, which was really convenient. Tahara itself is a calm and peaceful town – perfect for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for 1 night for touring Automotive Engineering Exhibition at Aichi Sky Expo. The location was great for commuting the Expo, free schuttle bus was operated for the Chubu Airport Terminal and the Expo by Tokoname City. The place was also great, clean and cozy bed, friendly master and staff, and great lounge. It is highly recommended for sb who plans to join or tour the exhibition at Aichi Sky Expo.
