Very nice hostel, at Kyoto station which is convenient for bus, subway and trains to all temples and places of interest! Hostel is very clean, showers and toilets included. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

The property is non-smoking and is set 400 metres from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. More traditional home style which I preferred. Toru was very nice, helpful, and informative. I liked the nice shared common space that made a communal feeling even though you had a private room. I slept very well!

The authentic japanese style and the friendly staff make this guest house absolutely the perfect and peaceful place in which stay during visiting Kyoto. Super equipped and clean. The house has a washing machine, a shared kithen and a beatiful shared space. Shared bedrooms have japanese style beds, which are very comfortable. I liked that each guest has his/her own private space even though the room is shared with other people. The location allows to reach most of the attractions by bus or on foot very easily, indeed I was not able to walk for long distance so I find this place super strategic.

The property is non-smoking and is set 2.2 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. Shin was a fantastic host - helping me throughout my stay and making me feel extremely welcome. He has fantastic English and goes above and beyond with everything he does. The room was unbelievably clean and the bed was comfortable. The shared kitchen was always spotless and had all the equipment you would need (and complimentary coffee!). While not close to the main attractions in Kyoto, the accommodation is a two minute walk from the Metro so there is no real issue.
