Her husband Soku is a great surfing teacher and a kind man. The hostel is very homey, clean, comfortable and you can use their bicycles for exploring the area. I stayed for 3 nights and wish I could have stayed longer, they made me feel like part of the family ❤️ I will definitely come back again!

Not many people with Many amazing beaches really close by. The people were fun and kind. Highly recommend and definitely want to come back! I think it’s the best place to experience the Amami life.

The place itself is very cozy and clean, and the location is very close to the train stop. Taketa itself is a really cute town that was fun to explore! But the best thing about this hostel were the staff, who were so friendly, helpful, and kind :) I loved my stay here and would come back!

The host Shiori is the sweetest person ever. She taught my partner how to play the cello then we played together in the sunset at the beach. Fukutsu is a wonderful, charming town. The house is clean and tidy, with great facilities, its always nice having access to a washing machine.
