We paid $53 AUD and the room was great , had 4 poster bed with mosquito net , not that we needed , breakfast was included choice of 4 different breakfast meals , we got room service -dinner 2 nights was great . Could hire motor bike for the day . Great location , about 20 restaurants ( prawns , crabs , squid , fish )across the road and large market 100 meters down the road . Supermarket about 10 minute walk . We extended our stay to 5 days instead of just the 2 days . Lovely staff were very helpful.

Great location with fantastic views over the Gulf of Thailand. Staff were super friendly and the design of the hotel, like a treehouse, added to the ambience and connection with nature. Loved the outdoor bathroom.

Friendly, helpful staff. Pointing out the many things to see in the area. Good breakfast every morning and as a solo traveller I felt safe. Good location, walking distance to everything. Beautiful pool and very comfortable bed.

Beautiful building in a great location - overlooking Kep Beach - very friendly, helpful staff and great hospitality and margs from the bar downstairs. Rooms are large, tastefully decorated and the beds are super comfortable. There are plenty of airy open spaces to relax in peacefully and the pool is great.

El Ling is a budget yet quite a cozy place to stay at, it is a little bit away from the main touristy places but it can be a benefit depending on what you are looking for ( I did like it very much). If you get a scooter it is actually perfectly located for any type of excursions. Yet the biggest highlight of this place is the Host, he will go extra 10 miles to make you happy. You can arrange transportation and the 'typical' travel/rent stuff at the hotel.
