Located in Otira, 12 km from Devils Punchbowl Falls, Rata Lodge Accommodation provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. The property is around 13 km from Arthur's Pass Train Station, 14 km from Arthur's Pass National Park and 8.6 km from Temple Basin. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property.

All units in the hostel are equipped with a kettle. At Rata Lodge Accommodation every room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, and a patio with a mountain view. Stayed one night and it was recently redone and very comfortable. The community spaces felt like a comfortable home. Gerard and Vicki were friendly, kind, helpful, I can’t say enough good things about them. I needed to do laundry ($10 to wash and dry) and Vicky brought it up to me when it was done. One thing needed more drying and she graciously put it back in the dryer and brought it up to me again. Would have loved to stay longer and explore the beautiful Arthur’s Pass area.

Wild Kea Lodge Franz Josef offers a modern accommodation across three wings in the Franz Josef Glacier Village, just a10-minute drive from Franz Josef Glacier and 30-40 minutes for Fox Glacier.

- Weka Wing (Rooms 1-24) Comfortable with essential amenities. The staff is extremely helpful, the lodge offers lots of complementary services (popcorn, soup, bikes) and the location is perfect even if, like me, you don't have a car.
