Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a city view. I don’t understand why this hotel doesn’t have 10 stars. It’s perfect. A summary of all the good things: 1. The deck. One day I literally spent the entire day at the deck, either reading a book in one of the beds, taking a swim, seeing sea-animals passing by, etc… 2. Breakfast is good and generous. I had the Caribbean breakfast every day. 3. Location is perfect. Just a few blocks far from “the noise”, yet close to several restaurants, grocery stores and to Bocas downtown. It’s walkable from/to the Almirante boats docks. 4. Staff was nice. 5. The room was perfect. 6. We took the advertised tour to Isla Zapatilla for $37, which I recommend. 7. Wifi was decent. Had a little glitch sometimes from the room, but acceptable. 8. We had a welcome drink/activity at night and used the paddle board for free on Thursday at 10am.

I found this place last minute and really appreciated that it was pet-friendly and had self check-in, which made everything super easy. The hosts were easy to contact via WhatsApp and responded quickly. There’s no AC, but the bedroom has a large, powerful fan, and there’s another in the shared living room area, so it stayed comfortable. I also appreciated the comfy seating at the dining table. The kitchen area was clean and well equipped.

Carenero Beach is 90 metres from the hostel. Bocas del Toro Isla Colon International Airport is 1 km away. This was an amazing place where to stay during our trip to Bocas del Toro. The dooble room was very comfortable and clean with air conditioning. The restaurant had really tasty food for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. It also served great cocktails and drinks. Even though it is a party hostel, our double room was quite separate from the common area so the noise was not a problem for us. We took earplugs with us and we were able to have a proper rest during our 3 nights there. This place was especially convenient on Friday, as we attended the Filthy Friday party and we could hop to our room whenever we wanted. Would definitely recommend as the value for money was definitely worth it.
