The room is basic, but has a hot (electric) shower. The breakfast was good. And we could store our bags when we went on a multi-day trip. We extend our stay here. The family managing the hotel is very friendly and nice. Amazing value for the price.

Owner let me check in early at 730am after a night bus from Lima, and check out later at 9pm while waiting for my night bus :') large chain hostels will never let you do this without charging! Tours readily available, common kitchen is simple but has everything you need. Breakfast changes every 3days so that's great. No bunk beds in the dorms which is a plus cause who wants to climb after a day of hiking. Very hot showers as well. Good location from the square
