The pool was an excellent place to cool my aching feet, the garden area peaceful to process my thoughts, and the pilgrim’s dinner the perfect opportunity to connect with other pilgrims and reflect on the diversity of our individual journeys. There is also a well tuned guitar and piano here so if you’re musical and missing your instrument, this is it! Thank you, Alvorada Medieval, for filling my cup. I arrived empty and depleted, and I left feeling nourished and held.

On the first floor, you have a cosy living room plus a kitchen where you can have breakfast in the morning. Outside you have a garden with a swimming pool and bbq (but it was raining, unfortunately). And the highlight was the cute dog Spot, which makes this place even more like home. Accommodation is very clean and beds comfortable (sheets and blankets provided).
