Well located in the West District district of Taichung, Star Hostel Taichung Parklane is located on the top floors of Green Park Lane Shopping Centre. It is 700 metres from Kuangsan SOGO Dept. Store, 1.6 km from National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts and 5 km from Fengjia Night Market. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking is available on site. This was perhaps the best hostel I stayed at in Taiwan. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and English speaking which was comforting. I had my own small private room which was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The cooked breakfast was superb and the added snacks and drinks available during the day. The Japanese style seating area was warm and comfortable with a great view. Was also very central located and easy to get around!

Set in the Central District of Taichung, Loosha Hostel is only 900 metres away from Taichung Train Station. Some of the most popular places in Taichung such as Miyahara Ice Cream, Fourth Credit Union and Shin Sei Green Waterway are within walking distance.

All rooms have free Wifi and air conditioning. Dormitory rooms provide clothes rack, privacy curtains and safety deposit boxes. We stayed for 3 days and we had a comfortable stay. The hostel is close to the Taichung Station and to the Taroko Mall which is convenient. Serves also good breakfast. The staff are accomodating and can speak english.

The beds were spacious and comfortable, the lockers were convenient and worked well, and the common space was awesome! Super comfy and cozy.
