Once a traditional family home, it has been carefully restored to offer modern comfort while keeping its authentic character. The home features one cozy bedroom with a double bed, a living room with two sofa beds, air conditioning throughout, and all the essentials: a fully equipped kitchen, free Wi-Fi, a modern bathroom, and a washing machine. Step outside and enjoy the large private garden and veranda, perfect for a morning coffee, an afternoon of reading, or a glass of local wine at sunset. The views of the valley and Mount Tomorri create a truly unforgettable atmosphere.
Countryside Home belongs to our family from Fushe Peshtan. We decided to open the doors of our countryside house to guests from all over the world, guided by the Albanian saying: “Shtëpia ime është e Zotit dhe e Mikut” (“My home belongs to God and to the guest”) We truly believe in genuine hospitality, sharing the warmth, traditions, and flavors of village life. As your hosts, we will be happy to help you discover the best of Berat — from family recipes to local stories and experiences in our village.
Fushe Peshtan is a lovely village just outside Berat, famous for its vineyards and winemaking tradition. Within a short walk or drive, you can visit two of the most renowned wineries in the region — Pupa Winery and Nurellari Winery — where you can taste award-winning wines and enjoy vineyard tours. For authentic food, Restaurant Baci serves delicious traditional dishes made from fresh local products. In the village, you’ll also find small shops and friendly neighbors, giving you the chance to experience everyday Albanian life. Surrounded by nature and only a short drive from the UNESCO city of Berat, Fushe Peshtan is the perfect balance between peaceful countryside living and easy access to culture and history.
