Sokaku Monark is a traditional stone villa located inside the historic Berat Castle. With 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room, a large garden, outdoor Jacuzzi, BBQ area, and a patio overlooking Mount Tomorr and the Osum River, it offers a peaceful and authentic stay. One of the oldest houses in the castle, it has been carefully restored by a local family to combine comfort and heritage.
We are a local family from Berat, proud to open our historic home to guests from all over the world. Our house is part of the castle’s living history, and we enjoy sharing the stories, traditions, and culture of this magical place. In Albania we say, “Shtëpia ime është e Zotit dhe e Mikut” – My home belongs to God and to the guest. We’re always nearby and happy to help with anything you need during your stay.
