As you can see in the pictures the Alpenchalet Farst is situated about 500 meters above the village Umhausen. There only live two families but you can reach Umhausen in 7 minutes with the car. If you book this appartment it's neccesary that you don't have fear of height as you drive along rocks and a tight street. In winter you need to have snow chains and four wheel drive.
Farst is one of the most sunniest areas in the Ötztal valley and allows you a view above the whole village of Umhausen and surrounding mountains.
