Our vineyard chalet is based in the center of Europe's highest wine village called "Kitzek im Sausal". Enjoy your stay surrounded by beautiful landscapes and in between vineyards with a glass of white wine and culinary surprises. Choose a break and just enjoy your time at „Ferienhaus Leitner“!
Hello my name is Helmut and I am your host for your stay at our small holiday chalet “Ferienhaus Leitner”. I am here to satisfy your time at us and to make sure that you feel fine and comfortable. If you have further questions about planing a trip to our house or need any information concerning your stay don’t hesitate to ask me!
Kitzeck is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and little small green hills. The village is Europeans highest vine principle at around 500m above sea level. The weather in summer is almost sunny and warm while in wintertime it could be snowy and fresh. Autumn is high season because then the grapes from the vineyards are ready to get pressed for our delicious and famous white vine.
Our house is located in between beautiful vineyards and you can explore many of the so called “Buschenschenke” by walking distance! Here your culinary desires can be pleased with homemade food and beverages!
Make sure you visit the beautiful vine towns “Leibnitz” and “Gamlitz” with its “Südsteirische Weinstraße” and of course our kind of mediterrane style capital of Styria, “Graz”!
