A very warm welcome to Ferienhaus Schäfer! As you are enjoying your fresh baked bread and coffee, singing birds are greating the rising sun. During your relaxing breakfast on either the balcony or terrace, you are stunned by the most fantastic view of the mountains and you feel reborn. Fit for the day you'll start your first holiday in beautiful northern Carinthia: take the lift to the top of the Hirnkopf, do some archery in Deutsch-Griffen and enjoy the summerday in Metnitz by the natural pool. After a divers day the day will end nice and tranquil with a barbecue whilst the childeren are playing with our chickens or are playing on the playground... Families, childeren, senior citizens, cyclists, motorriders and hikers- everyone is welcome! At our place you'll enjoy the Tranquillity, the Space & the Nature! We are looking forward to your stay!

During winter you will find the familie wintersportsarea Flattnitz just 400 meters away from our house. Located at 1400 meters above sealevel you can go cross-country skiing, take a sled, go for a winterhike or go skiing. 2 larger ski-areas, Kreischberg & Turracherhöhe, are in 35 minutes by car available.
