Our house in Sterngasse is one of the oldest in Melk. A wide variety of people have lived and worked here for centuries. Sharing this special place with others gives us great joy.
Welcome to sterngasse*! We look forward to welcoming you as our guest. We are happy to help you with questions, event tips and excursion destinations. Of course we recommend you to stay with us for a few days and enjoy our picturesque area. You should definitely visit Melk Abbey. For culture lovers, excursions to the Schallaburg Castle or Artstetten Castle, in which the memory of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria is preserved, are also worthwhile. For those who like to be active in sports, we recommend extensive bike tours through the Wachau and the Dunkelsteinerwald or hikes on the Wachau World Heritage Trail. At least one visit to the Heurigen is a must! We would be happy to help you choose the right one. For families, all cultural institutions also offer children's tours or short tours. Relaxation for the whole family is guaranteed in the Wachaubad Melk with a large swimming pool, diving platform and two slides. If you don't want to cook, we have everything your heart desires in Melk, from a baker to a butcher to restaurants and inns.
