Looking for accommodation that gives you the Hochkönig Card for free? Come and stay at Haus Schneeberg! The Hochkönig Card gives great benefits in summer - free use of hiking bus, village swimming pool, tennis courts, mountain lifts, bike taxis and more! The Haus is a traditional Austrian family house in the centre of the village, less than 200m from shops and restaurants. We are situated 100m from the ski bus stop, and 2 mins drive / 900m from the Karbachalm mountain lift, and in good snow conditions, you can ski back to 100m from the house on teh ski weg. We are Jerome and Alison and we live in the ground floor flat, and there are two apartments for rent on the first floor, and one apartment to rent on the second floor, in the eaves. We offer a very friendly service and love to hear about all our guests experiences during their holiday. We know the area well so can recommend the best places to walk, ski, eat visit etc. We do allow one dog per apartment From May - October, for an additional charge of 25 euros. Please note that we do not allow dogs to be left alone in the apartment, or on the furniture. Please let us know in adviance if you would like to bring a dog. We look forward to welcoming you!
We bought Haus Schneeberg end 2012. Jerome is French and Alison is English, and we both speak French and basic German! Jerome used to be a ski Instructor in France and he is also a qualified tennis coach. Alison deals with all the marketing of our website, and social media, and bookings! The area is great for a skiing or biking and hiking holiday. We are 100m from the ski bus stop, and the bus then takes 2 minutes to take you to the base of the gondola which gives access to 120km of pistes, and hiking routes. There are 340km of hiking trails in the area, with fantastic scenery. There is an outdoor swimming pool in the village, a children play park over the road, with a small petting zoo, and plenty of other activities such as archery, flying fox, horse riding etc. There are lots of things to see in the area such as Hohenwerfen castle, ice caves, salt mines, Hallstadt, Königssee and Berchtesgaden, and of course Salzburg.

Please note that the Superior One-Bedroom Apartment is on the second floor of the house, in the eaves, and has restricted headroom in some areas. It is not recommended for people over 180 cm in height.

One dog, over 9 months old is allowed per apartment, upon request, from April - November only. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the furniture, and are not allowed to be left alone in the apartment. There is a surcharge of EUR 25 per stay for the dog.

Please note that the Large Apartment is described as having 2 bedrooms, although the title says 1 bedroom. It is not 2 bedrooms, it is one bedroom, plus there is a king size bed in the living room. Booking.com are unable to change this.

Please inform Haus Schneeberg mit Hochkönig Card in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
