We are a young family who moved from the Netherlands to the beautiful Gailtal, Austria in 2024. Haus Waldbach has been our passion project – lovingly renovated to combine a sense of luxury with a classic alpine atmosphere. For us, it is not just a house but a place to truly enjoy life in the mountains. We love sharing this with our guests and making sure you feel comfortable and at home from the very beginning. Whether you come for skiing, hiking, or simply relaxing, we hope Haus Waldbach will be the perfect base for your stay.
This area offers endless activities in every season. In winter you can enjoy skiing at Nassfeld, or go ice skating on the Weissensee. In summer, dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Weissensee or the Pressegger See, both perfect for swimming and relaxation. Nature lovers will appreciate hiking across the Dobratsch mountain, while culture seekers can explore Slovenia’s traditions or simply cross the border for an authentic Italian pizza and gelato.
