A warm welcome to our “Landhaus Obervellach”. Our small apartment house is located on the sun side of the small town of Obervellach, at the edge of Hermagor-Presseggersee with a panoramic view at the skiing area of Nassfeld. Our apartments are situated at the south, with an amazing view at the Carnic Alps, to which the skiing area of Nassfeld belongs. Our garden offers a 1000m2 of multiple possibilities for young and old. For the children there is a trampoline, playtower with a slide and swings. Besides all this, there is still enough room to play soccer or any other field games. A proper Treehouse is being built as well! We also have a nice sitting areas in our garden, perfect for having a nice breakfast or afternoon tea and drinks in the sun. In the winter, we have a warmed area for your skiing equipment. In the summer, we have enough space to store your (rented) bikes. There is enough free parking space for your car as well.

How great would it be to live in the mountains and have guests to share this with us? That is a question we asked ourselves many times . After giving it a good and long thought, we decided to take the step in 2016. In July 2017 we moved to the beautiful Carinthia in Austria, with our son and our 2 cats. After a year of intensive searching, we found our Landhaus Obervellach in July 2018. It needed to be completely renovated. In 5 months we accomplished the unrealizable and just before Christmas 2018 we moved into our own Landhaus. Then we started working on our apartments. In July 2019 we were able to welcome our first guests, in the first apartment TOP1 ”Spitzegel”. The second apartment TOP2 “Gartnerkofel” has been renovated as well and we can welcome our guests in this apartment since February 2020. We are extremely proud of our Landhaus and we hope to welcome you as our guest one day!

Landhaus Obervellach is located on the sun side of the small town of Obervellach, at the edge of Hermagor-Presseggersee with a panoramic view at the skiing area of Nassfeld. In less than 5 minutes travel, you are at the Centre of the town Hermagor which has multiple restaurants and shops. In the winter it only takes you 10 minutes to get to the valley station of the Millennium Express, which takes you to the biggest skiing area of Carinthia. In the summer, our Landhaus can be a central point from which you can make multiple biking, hiking, or walking trips. The Presseggersee, a beautiful naturel lake, where you can swim, or enjoy other aquatic sports, is only 5 minutes away. Italy and Slovenia are also right around the corner. In less than 30 minutes car drive you can find yourself on Italian or Slovenian soil. From May till September you are offered the Holiday+ Card for free. With this card you have free entrance to the Bergbahnen of Nassfeld, as well as multiple swimming areas at the Presseggersee.
